The aim of the Awana curriculum serves to lead children into a deeper understanding of God's Word while giving unsaved boys and girls regular opportunities to hear the gospel and come to faith in Jesus Christ. Awana helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children who faithfully follow Jesus Christ.
During Awana, children learn basic truths about God, salvation and the Bible. We have a strong emphasis on Scripture memory.
We start each Wednesday night in Kid City Theater at 6:30pm. We have large group time then the children break into small groups to have game time, handbook time and most importantly Council Time. Council Time is where their leaders present a lesson from the Bible and show the children how to apply it to their lives.
Once a month we have a Mission emphasis where the children will have an opportunity to learn how they can be a missionary. We also have events throughout the year where the whole family can join!
